WORKSHOP: "Let's Make a Backpack!" with Laurie Biundo (IN-PERSON)

Do you need a gift for a grandchild? Or someone who needs a compact backpack? This pack has a large main pocket, as well as smaller pockets, including one with a zipper on the outside.  Inside, there is a zipper pocket and a slip pocket.  There is also a zipper closing the main compartment to secure everything.

It can hold a ton of items – whether it be for toddler’s toys, clothes for an overnight at Grandma’s, or gear for a day of hiking. The straps can be used as a traditional backpack or carried crossbody by pulling up on the carry strap pad. 

This workshop will use the Switchback pattern from ByAnnie.  All workshop participants must purchase the pattern.

This is not a difficult project, it just has a lot of parts.  There will be prep work to be completed prior to the workshop.  It is important to do all of the prep work to ensure that you get at least the main parts of the backpack done during the workshop.  The supplies list includes prep work instructions.
